Test, Rod, & Roping
Carrying out the initial test, rod, and rope of underground cable routes. They also have access to a Duct Rod Rapid Pusher to help with congested areas and long distances.
Network FTTP
Experience working on network FTTP projects. This includes the initial TRR, installing subducts and BMD, and then blowing the fibre.

Cable Pulling
With years of experience, each team is able to routinely pull 1000m+ of cable every night.
Network Splicing
Experience with splicing the full network build, including distribution points, cabinets, nodes (CMJs, FMJs).
Home Installations
We have a team specialising in home installations with a focus on maintaining good customer relations.
Overhead and Underground
We have experience working both in the underground and overhead networks, with access to a MEWPs. We have subcontractors trained in confined spaces.

ABOUT
Empire Communications was founded in 2021 by its director, Ricki Wilson. He had previously worked for a telecommunications company for 15 years before deciding to start his own business.
The company originally started working in home installations before moving into test, rod and, roping, cable pulling, and now FTTP. We believe in evolving with the industry and staying up to date with current systems.

While we pride ourselves on working ahead of schedule, as a company, we have always maintained that safety is our highest priority. We also believe that the quality of our work should never be compromised.

Ricki Wilson
Ricki Wilson is the founder and director of Empire Communications. With over 17 years of experience working in the telecommunications industry, he's used this knowledge to grow the company into what it is today.

In his personal time, Ricki loves spending time with his family and going to the gym.

Jade Hunt
Jade joined Empire Communications in 2022 to help manage the ever-expanding admin side of the business.

While not working, Jade enjoys working on creative hobbies and spending time with her cats.

With 15 years of management experience and 12 years working in telecommunications. Mark joined Empire Communications in 2023 to help manage the day-to-day needs of the business.
